Privacy Notice
FIL Delivery Inc. ("FIL," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website (fildelivery.com) to share information about our 3PL services and accept inquiries from prospective customers. This notice explains how we handle personal information you send to us through the site.
What we collect
When you fill out a quote or contact form on this site, we collect only what you enter:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Company name
- Any details you provide about your inquiry
We do not store this information in a database. The form sends it directly to our staff via email so we can respond to you.
Other information we may receive
- Server logs. Our web host (Microsoft Azure) records standard request data — your IP address, browser type, the page you visited, and the time — for site security and operations.
- Error tracking. We use Sentry to detect bugs. If something breaks on a page you're viewing, Sentry may receive your IP, browser type, and which page errored. It does not record form input.
How we use it
We use the information you send us only to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell, rent, or share it with marketers or third parties.
How long we keep it
Form submissions live in our staff email inboxes. We retain emailed inquiries for up to two years before deletion as part of routine cleanup. Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's defaults (typically 30–90 days).
Service providers
The only third parties that receive your information are:
- Microsoft 365 — our email provider, which transmits and stores the inquiry emails.
- Microsoft Azure — our web host, which handles incoming traffic and logs it.
- Sentry — our error monitoring tool, which receives technical data when a JavaScript error occurs.
Each of these providers is bound by its own privacy practices and applicable law.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use analytics cookies or advertising trackers. We may use a session cookie strictly to remember UI state during your visit (for example, whether you have collapsed an accordion). We do not currently use any third-party analytics tools.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal information you have sent us. Email info@fildelivery.com and we will respond within 30 days. Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you also have the right to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you believe we have mishandled your information.
Children
This site is intended for businesses in the beverage industry. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through this page.
